Kalua

Touch

(Love Song from Bird of Paradise) - Words & music by Kenneth Darby

O wai ka halia ka anoi a loko

O wai ka halia ka anoi a loko

This is my night of love

This is the hour of Kalua

My arms are open now, My heart has spoken now

Who will be Kalua's only lover?

Who will her lover be?

Who will her lover be?

Before the night is old

My (his) arms will hold Kalua

My beating heart is true Wanting you (wanting you)

Your beating heart I feel Wanting me (wanting me)

And now my song is through

I give to you, Kalua

O wai ka halia ka anoi a loko

O wai ka halia ka anoi a loko

To Where You Are

Who can say for certain

Maybe you’re still here

I feel you all around me

Your memories so clear

Deep in the stillness

I can hear you speak

You’re still an inspiration

Can it be?

That you are my Forever love

And you're watching over me from up above

Fly...                   This is my night of love

me up to where you are...    This is the hour of Kalua

A distant star

I wish upon tonight

To see you smile ....              My arms are open now,

If only for awhile...            My heart has spoken now

to know you’re there...           will be Kalua?

A breath away’s not far

To where you are...                  O wai ka halia ka anoi a loko

I know you’re there

A breath away’s not far

To where you are...

O wai ka halia ka anoi a loko

Kalua~
